Every item at L.D. Haning & Co. is custom hand-crafted and made to order specifically for you upon purchase. We do not maintain pre-made inventory, ensuring every piece receives dedicated bench work and attention to detail.

As long as production has not yet started on your item, we are happy to accommodate modifications or cancellations. You must contact us immediately so we can check your order status. Once materials are cut or bench work begins, orders cannot be changed, canceled, or refunded.

Please do not rely on your modern pants size, as commercial clothing uses vanity sizing that does not match actual belt circumference. To measure correctly:

1. Take an everyday belt that fits you well and lay it flat.
2. Measure with a tape measure from the inside edge of the buckle frame (or leather fold) to the hole you use most frequently.
3. That exact measurement in inches is your belt size.

Because every item is custom hand-crafted to the exact specifications selected at checkout, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or alterations free of charge due to customer measurement errors. Please double-check all measurements before placing your order.

Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our gear, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse, change of mind, or size selection errors.

We stand behind our craftsmanship. If your order arrives defective, damaged in transit, or does not match your submitted order specifications:

1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@ldhaning.com
2. Include your Order Number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos.
3. Upon verification, we will repair the item, manufacture a replacement, or issue store credit at our discretion.

Because items are individually hand-crafted to order, fulfillment times vary based on current workshop queue volume and material preparation. You will receive an automated shipping notification with tracking details as soon as your gear leaves our facility.

Smaller items may ship within 1–2 weeks if they are in stock, though in-stock availability is uncommon.
Most orders take 3–4 months or longer. A single belt does not require three months to make, but your order enters the queue behind earlier orders, which may include 25 complete accoutrement sets.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and deliverable shipping address at checkout. L.D. Haning & Co. is not responsible for misdelivered or lost packages resulting from incorrect address entry or carrier delays once the package is handed over to the shipping carrier.
